I love teaching – it’s been a life-long passion.

And I love the internet. It provides me with income; and knowledge; and challenges. I enjoy the freedom of choosing for myself what days to work and what hours to work. I can even choose from where to work. It lets me be in control of my life. I’m sincere when I use “the internet is my playground and my workplace” as my tagline.

While I could write about all I have done and the accomplishments I have achieved, I won’t. But in order to establish some credibility, I should mention that I have a few successful businesses.
The first is a website design and hosting company, Gulf Thunder Corporation, that has several hundred clients across the country.

My wife and I also operate a field service business, Digital Field Services, LLC, that generates much of it’s income from internet sales and advertising put in place by Gulf Thunder Corporation.

I established separate websites for myself, www.terryplatt.com, and my internet company, www.gulfthunder.com. Although I am very proud of Gulf Thunder Corporation – it’s accomplishments and it’s reputation, I prefer to work with people – not companies. The type of clients I like to serve will be the same way – they will want to know the name and the face of an actual person responsible for helping them achieve their goals. Although your business dealings may be with Gulf Thunder Corporation, the responsible party is always me, Terry Platt.

My Newsletter

You may want to subscribe to my newsletter.  Why?  Because this is the only site where I post articles that share free information about how you can promote yourself, your business, your ideas – anything you like – on the internet.  The  newsletter is part of the package I give my clients but I welcome anyone to use the information.  The articles serve as information highlights and step-by-step instructions on using new developments and techniques to improve their online publicity .

Subjects I frequently cover include:

• Social Networking tools and site such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, etc.
• Google stuff.  Lots of Google stuff: Google Maps, Google Places, Google Voice, etc.

As I mentioned earlier, I use this site to help keep me organized.  My articles are organized in such a way that when I feel the time is right, I take the articles, and from them create information E-Books which I offer for sale at some of my sites such as www.BooksByBubba.com.
